Whilst I was recording my scene I noticed that the brightness of the shot was very high so what I did went on adobe and used the brightness & contrast effect to level the lighting of the shot making it more appealing to the audience.Increasing the contrast improves the contrast between the light and dark regions of the image, while diminishing it causes the image to appear washed out. A correct balance of brightness and contrast is required for the image to look aesthetically pleasing and professional to the audience
With having the wisdom of the codes and conventions of horror I used the colour red to symbolize fear and danger creating a more vigorous tension for the viewers also increase the fear factor of that particular scene
Here we have two examples of where I wanted the sound effect of a heartbeat to be less emphasized within my segment. As you can see i adjusted the sound of the heartbeat sound effect to allow the sound of the natural audio to be heard as well. This gave off the impression that the heartbeat sound effect was real as it was heard gently by the audience
Here we have two examples of the enhancement of lighting. In picture one you can see when I was shooting the the brightness of the video was abit to high and I wanted a level of continuity with brightness within my segment of the movie .So I adjusted the brightness and contrast to follow up on how I wanted this particular shot to look like
